Hemodialysis service was already present in the Regional Hospital of Shkodra, but with very low capacity, which resulted by extending the service hours to 4 shifts, against the mandatory national standards. The hemodialysis unit is located within the Regional Hospital in Shkodra and began full function on July 4, 2016. Today, 72 patients from Shkodra, Puka, Vau i Dejës, Koplik and Velipoja receive this vital service, where a team of 18 medical and assistants, make this happen every day.
